The opening of the Estonian Embassy in Armenia will give a new boost to bilateral relations: Deputy Minister of Economy

Anushik Avetyan emphasized the continuous development of cooperation between Armenia and Estonia, describing it as a partnership based on mutual trust, a shared commitment to reforms, and competitiveness and innovation.
Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Anushik Avetyan, participated in the official opening of the Export Acceleration Programme and delivered welcoming remarks, said 1lurer.am. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, also delivered opening remarks at the event. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Anushik Avetyan also welcomed the opening of the Estonian Embassy in Armenia, expressing confidence that it will give a new impetus to bilateral relations and contribute to unlocking new opportunities—especially in digital public services and data management, cybersecurity, cooperation in high-tech and innovative sectors, as well as export development and market diversification.
The Deputy Minister stressed that for Armenia, export promotion is not only an economic priority but also a fundamental factor in positioning in global markets and ensuring economic resilience. It drives business development, innovation, the adoption of new business models, and the expansion of export markets.
In this context, she highly appreciated the contribution of Estonian partners, the Visionest Institute, and development partners supporting the implementation of the programme, noting that such initiatives create practical opportunities for Armenian businesses.
Within the framework of the event, Anushik Avetyan also participated in a panel discussion, during which she addressed practical mechanisms for supporting Armenian exporters, strengthening compliance with international standards, certification, the development of digital capacities, as well as the promotion of B2B connections and access to foreign markets.
She emphasized that the support of development partners is most effective when it is aligned with Armenia’s national priorities, has a practical focus, and ensures measurable results for businesses.
