Creating Export Training Platform in Ukraine

The primary objective of this program is to establish a comprehensive training platform, designed for seamless integration into Ukraine's DIIA system. This platform is crucial for the swift and efficient enhancement of export capabilities among Ukrainian exporters. Its development will provide the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (EEPO) with a sustainable and cost-effective environment for organizing and delivering impactful export training programs.

The project aims to set up and rigorously test the underlying logic of the training platform. This ensures that the training can be delivered efficiently and effectively, enabling participating Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to apply their acquired knowledge with the same level of efficacy as observed in our previous training initiatives. A key outcome will be the establishment of a robust network and a clear communication channel, allowing participants to easily access additional information and support.

Furthermore, this platform will serve as a vital showcase for Ukrainian export trainers. By increasing visibility, it seeks to generate greater interest in their training programs, foster their professional development, and ultimately bolster the economic sustainability of their export training and consulting enterprises.

Direct beneficiaries of this project include 20 trainers who are graduates of the Export Academy, possessing practical experience in enhancing companies' export capabilities and recognizing the technical necessity of the platform. A pilot training will be conducted for 100 export-oriented SMEs, carefully selected from diverse sectors with a commitment to gender balance, ensuring 50% participation from women entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (EEPO), as the sole organization in Ukraine dedicated to improving enterprises' export efficiency, will benefit from the created Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring the long-term sustainability of export training. EEPO will integrate the LMS into the Diia platform to independently continue export training.

Indirect beneficiaries encompass at least 200 SMEs annually who will complete the Export Academy's training program after the conclusion of our project, contributing significantly to Ukraine's export and development. Additionally, approximately 5,000 exporting SMEs requiring a more systematic approach to their activities, and about 90 Business Support Organizations (BSOs) needing export trainers for their staff and members' initial export training, will also benefit.

One of the most significant advantages of this project is its emphasis on long-term impact and sustainability. We have developed an educational program that can be accessed by an unlimited number of export-interested individuals in the future. Ukrainian export trainers have compiled a universal set of materials, providing knowledge applicable in both typical and wartime conditions. The program is largely structured around individual study, allowing participants to regulate their learning pace and difficulty. It offers comprehensive resources including training videos, written materials, supplementary resources, in-depth homework assignments, and professional feedback from export experts on their completed work.

Participant satisfaction will be continuously measured through questionnaires administered after each training module. These surveys will assess satisfaction with the modules, topics presented, their difficulty, the homework assignments, feedback sessions, and the trainers. A detailed survey will also be conducted after the training program to evaluate overall satisfaction and participants' attitudes post-completion. The average satisfaction across seven modules was 4.8. For all seven modules, satisfaction consistently ranged between 4.6 and 4.9.

Украинские экспортные тренеры собрали универсальный набор материалов, знания из которых применимы как в обычных, так и в военных условиях.

В программе можно смотреть обучающие видео, читать письменные материалы, приобретать дополнительные материалы, учиться на основе подробных домашних заданий и получать профессиональную обратную связь по своей работе от экспертов по экспорту.

Удовлетворенность измерялась с помощью анкет после каждого обучающего модуля. Средняя удовлетворенность обучающими модулями составила 4,8 (по шкале от 1 до 5).
