Grow Global applicants include leaders, project managers, entrepreneurs, sales and client-relations professionals, and people who have delivered international projects. Companies can meet candidates before making any decision about continued cooperation.

  • Broad, practical international capability. Applicants bring experience in leadership, projects, B2B sales, foreign customers, entrepreneurship, negotiation and relationship-building.
  • Training is connected to your company’s real needs. Five online modules, international trainers and personal mentoring help the selected person focus on your export priorities. The practical assignments in the programme are done on the basis of your own company.
  • Meet first, decide later. All companies meet candidates at the online job fair on 8–9 October. Participation is free and registration creates no obligation to hire.

Estonian companies often ask whether Grow Global has attracted people who can genuinely take responsibility for a new market, client relationship or export project. The short answer is: the applicant pool is broad and practical. Dozens of full applications have been submitted, and most candidates have also included a CV.

The overview below is fully anonymous. These are application insights, not final selection or employment-matching results. No person, former employer or recognisable career story is disclosed.

International experience is the common foundation

Candidates report international exposure through foreign customers or partners, international projects, exports, trade fairs, or living and studying abroad. Most rate their English as excellent or suitable for professional work.

Many have experience in international projects, foreign-customer work or international sales. Companies may therefore not need to start from zero: candidates already understand cross-cultural communication, the patience of a longer sales cycle and the work required to align different stakeholders.

Your company does not need to start from zero — candidates already understand international client relationships and the patience required to build a new market.

Experience that can move a company forward

Several strong patterns emerge from the candidates’ experience:

  • Leadership and ownership. Many have led teams, business units, change and results.
  • Delivering projects. Many have managed projects where goals had to become actions, deadlines and measurable outcomes.
  • Sales and international clients. Candidates bring substantial experience in B2B relationships, negotiation, marketing, exports and account management.
  • Entrepreneurial judgement. Several have run businesses and understand decisions made with limited time and resources.
  • Sharing knowledge. Many have training or mentoring experience that can help explain complex products and coordinate cooperation.

Candidates also bring experience in finance, logistics, procurement, marketing, communications, consulting, digital solutions and IT.

What roles do applicants want?

Many are interested in international client development and export sales. Project management, consulting, business development and leadership also feature strongly. Most are open to combining responsibilities, which can suit a small or medium-sized company where international growth does not fit one narrow job title.

Training connects prior experience to your company’s challenge

Grow Global is a five-month online programme in English with five learning modules, international trainers and personal mentoring. Practical assignments are shaped around the participating company’s export needs, target markets and expectations for the new person.

Meet before deciding

The online job fair takes place on 8–9 October. All companies meet all candidates and can then decide who may be worth a longer conversation. Registering creates no obligation to hire.
